Halibut eluded us today. Had one on its way up that must have told the rest it was a trap after it got free. Fished locally in tough conditions. We tried multiple halibut drifts and managed some stand out bottom fish to go along with the normal sized stuff. Beautiful weather and lots of fish to take home. Looking forward to smaller bait and biting fish soon!
